機(jī)考:
Hazard perception test
The hazard perception test (HPT) is a computer-based test which measures your ability to recognise and appropriately respond to potentially dangerous situations while driving. The HPT is different from conventional licence tests which concentrate on road rules and vehicle control.
During the HPT you will be presented with various real driving scenarios. During each scenario, you are asked to indicate when it would be safe to perform a driving manoeuvre. For example, your response to a scenario might be 'turn right' based on what you see on the screen. Your responses are scored to assess your level of skill in identifying hazards.
The hazard perception test will be introduced in 2008.
完成P1以后的P2
* those issued a P1 provisional licence under 24 and who have completed the P1 stage and successfully passed a hazard perception test
* provisional licence holders who are over 25 and have passed the practical driving test
* P2 provisional licence holders returning from a disqualification to a P2 probationary or P2 restricted licence, where at the time of the offence they were under 25
* P1 probationary licence holders progressing to a P2 probationary or provisional licence who have held their P1 licence for an accumulative one year period and have passed the hazard perception test.
